Year of the Return
Unlike other trips that I have taken in the past, this was one of the most memorable trips. This trip was a a combination of reunion and education. The reunion of this trip was exemplified by the brothers and sisters of the continent welcoming us home. Making us feel like it was more of a homecoming instead of just a visit. It was educational because i learned more about how rich a country Ghana was. Not only was the history so rich, Ive learned more about how the slaves that landed in my Mothers Land of Haiti may have been from Ghana and other West African countries.
